Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with integrity and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety standards
• Assist in food preparation and serving of pastries, snacks, or light meals as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling practices, and proper serving techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude
