Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, food safety practices, and beverage preparation stations.
• Process cash and card payments smoothly while balancing registers at the end of shifts.
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred; café experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Experience in beverage service, drink preparation, and retail sales transactions is highly desirable.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties regularly.
