PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Warmly greet every customer, take orders accurately, and offer recommendations.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and handle cash and card payments.
• Prepare espresso drinks, drip coffee, pour-overs, refreshers, frappes, and other beverages.
• Assemble and serve food items, including baked goods, pastries, and pre-packaged sandwiches and salads.
• Keep the counter, seating area, and front of house clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift.
• Restock cups, lids, syrups, milk, and supplies as needed.
• Build genuine, friendly relationships with regulars and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintains a knowledge about each of the beans including origins and roast profiles, and is able to explain these to a customer if asked

QUALIFICATIONS

• Customer-service or food-service experience helpful; willingness to learn is most important.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to multitask during busy periods.
• Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to about 30 lbs.
• Available for early-morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
• A heart for hospitality that fits the mission and values of Overflow Coffee Co.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
