Barista - Airport Early Morning

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for daily sales reconciliation
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and food preparation procedures
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by engaging with travelers, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Assist with food service tasks including food preparation and serving snacks or light meals as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy morning hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred, especially within retail or hospitality environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and sales transactions
• Experience in serving, food preparation, and retail math will be considered an asset
• Ability to work early mornings consistently, demonstrating excellent time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
