Barista and Baker - Boba & Bakery Shop

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals for a new and exciting boba tea, bingsu and bakery/ice cream shop in the exciting Ala Moana, Hawaii, neighborhood at Midtown Eats. This role is essential in creating and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment, focusing on high-quality customer service and outstanding beverages and baked goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, and customer service, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. However, no extensive experience is required for someone willing to learn and work hard!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and prepare orders.
• Prepare food and cook and maintain quality and consistency.
• Utilize POS systems such as Toast for efficient cash handling and order processing.
• Conduct inventory control to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience needed with the right personality and willingness to learn!
• Preferred culinary skills with experience in food production and/or beverage creation.
• Preferred familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Background in hospitality management is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
