Barista and Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team and help build our brand. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and attention to detail are key. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; assist in ordering stock as needed.
• Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and change giving.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety regulations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
