Barista and Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional boba tea experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing outstanding customer service. Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and equipment.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Operate the POS system for processing transactions efficiently.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Experience with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.

Schedule required to work a mix of night and morning shifts as we are looking exclusively for full-time workers

Morning shifts are usually 11-6

Night shifts are usually 6-Close (Usually 10:30- 11)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
