Barista and Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers have a delightful experience while enjoying their favorite drinks and snacks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations during food handling and preparation.
• Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the coffee industry is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and serving techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.

Job Type: Part-time
