Barista and Cashier

We're TSAoCAA & bb.q Chicken; from being one of the most popular cafés based out of Chinatown, we've made our name pioneering our signature brewed specialty teas/coffee and the unbeatable combo of top quality boba drinks + authentic Korean street foods, which is first and only one of such in Chicago. Next on our agenda is a city-wide coverage to further dominate Chicago's palate with the opening of our second location at Lincoln Park, where we'll be glad to have you on board to bring out your A game and build relationships with us and our customers.

There are several positions open, at the moment we are looking for 2 baristas for at least 1 year of employment. We’d prefer if you have some experience—if not, as long as you are somewhat familiar with bobas/coffee culture and eager to learn, we’ll help you build your skills and confidence along the way, so that with plenty of practice you’ll soon become a reliable member of the team. Here’s some of your potentials that we’re are looking for:

• Consistency, of personal comportment and also shows when you deliver drinks/food that adheres to TSAoCAA’s quality in a timely manner.
• Have a positive attitude and the willingness to learn and adapt as a team-player.
• Ability to work and be organized under pressure.
• Must have open availability including weekends and holidays.
• A valid Food Handler Certification is preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.

In addition to performing your role as a barista and upholding the standard quality of our products, other requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Complete mid-shift tasks/side-jobs and cleaning.
• Identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Manage incoming shipments, organize inventory, and waste disposal.
• Must be able to communicate with customers and teammates clearly and effectively.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
