Barista and Cashier

Gong Cha Tomball, a bubble tea store is looking to hire hardworking, passionate, respectful, and friendly individuals to join our team. Your tasks include taking orders, making drinks, prep work, restocking, cleaning and closing the store. This is a great opportunity to obtain experiences and skills for future endeavors.

Job Description:

• Take customer orders by operating sales system
• Prepare all customer drinks effectively by following the label sticker which tells you the appropriate ice and sugar level
• Provide great customer service
• Assist customers with their needs
• Properly maintain the machines by keeping it clean at all times
• When closing, wash all stainless steel utensils used during the shift and plastic shakers and clean all the equipment
• Mop the floors, clean all counter space, bar, customer seating area, and walls with a washcloth before closing
• Take out trash and cardboard boxes
• Responsible for assisting with inventory duties
• Opportunity for growth within the company
• Potential SHIFT LEADER POSITION includes, but not limited to: overseeing the store workflow, guiding other team members in problem solving, maintaining inventory, assisting with training for new hires, and opening/closing the cash register.

Requirements:

• Able to lift 35 lbs in weight.
• The position requires you to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, so flexibility is a must.
• Adherence to safety and food handling procedures is expected, as is the adherence to local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws.
• You must also be able to operate kitchen equipment.
• Must be available to work weekend and holiday season hours
• Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
• Work authorization: United States (Required)
• Minimum 3 shifts required per week, must be available to work at minimum 1 weekend shift per week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $16.00 per hour
