Barista and Cashier

Job Summary
North Pole Coffee is seeking a friendly Barista to join our team at our Airport café. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons. This role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a positive attitude. Of course, a love for coffee is always a plus! No experience is needed, we are willing to train the right person for the job!

The hourly rate is $13/hr, and you will have the opportunity to earn tips in both cash and card payments, which will be added to your earnings! Typically, hourly rate plus tips is equivalent to $18-$24/hr.

We are currently hiring for weekend availability and closing shifts. The typical shift times range from 12:00pm to 11:00 pm

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently

- Operate the POS system to process payments

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee station and dining area

- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours

- Assist with food preparation as needed

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
