Barista and Cashier

Overview
We are seeking an upbeat bubbly and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, made to order food items, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our customers while adhering to food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintaining a well groomed, polished, appearance able to work in.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handling transactions accurately while providing friendly service.
• Assist with food preparation and service, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and promote menu items, enhancing sales opportunities.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
