Barista and Food Prep

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, such as coffee and tea, to customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating quality drinks.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages
• Take customer orders and process payments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
• Upsell products and promote specials to customers
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment
• Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed

Skills

• Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines
• Proficiency in cash handling and using a cash register
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products
• Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and processing payments
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
