Barista and Ice Cream artists

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious ice cream and ensuring that our customers receive high-quality products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your culinary skills and attention to detail to create a variety of flavors while adhering to food safety standards. you will also be trained for barista work and our short order cafe'.

Duties

• Prepare and mix ice cream bases according to established recipes.
• Operate ice cream machines and other equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing excellent service and recommendations.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of ingredients and finished products.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Skills

• Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with an understanding of basic cooking techniques.
• Proficient in basic math for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems such as Aloha is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately for consistent product quality.
