Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boba & tea, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage preparation. As a vital member of our team, you will craft high-quality beverages, serve customers with a smile, and ensure a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills within the food service industry while providing exceptional experiences to our guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages and specialty drinks using standardized recipes and equipment.
• Operate Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling.
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling and register accuracy.
• Assist in food safety practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
• Maintain a positive customer experience.
• Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in beverage or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Strong math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: Hourly wage plus cash and credit card tips
