Job Summary:

As a Barista at Teazzi Sunnyvale, you will play a vital role in creating a positive customer experience by preparing and serving our signature tea beverages. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring product quality, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also assist in training new team members, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Beverages: Skillfully prepare a variety of teas, toppings, and boba drinks according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup.
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. Provide product recommendations and answer any questions about our menu.
  • Order Processing: Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, process payments, and ensure orders are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the workspace and equipment clean and sanitized at all times, following food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely operate bubble tea machines, blenders, and other equipment, following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow, especially during busy periods.

Job Requirements:

  • Commitment to quality and strong attention to detail
  • Experience in the food/beverage industry
  • Maintain and exceed high standards regarding cleanliness and food safety
  • Excellent customer service and communication/collaboration skills within a team environment
  • High integrity with a great attendance record.
  • Proactive mindset, always looking to be helpful, and willing to do whatever tasks are needed for the team to succeed.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs on a regular basis, and occasionally 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Possesses or open to acquiring a Food Handler Permit (Can be acquired after hire date)
