Tea Top is looking to fill multiple positions. Pay is based on experience and skill, all positions has opportunities for advancement within the store.

Note: Position’s compensation includes salary and tips. Tea Top offers paid training and will be increased after successfully completing training.

Barista - Experience 0-1 year

Barista 2 - Experience 6 months to 1 year

Senior Barista - Experience 1.5 year+

Team Lead - Experience 1 Year+ managing a team

Assistant Manager - Experience 1 year+

The ideal candidate will be able to learn and prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Responsibilities include educating customers on our drink’s menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of drink configurations and management of business operations. You should be able to work various shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all customer orders and their experience is of high value.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
  • Food Handler Certificate (Will be required after 1 month of employment)
  • Food Manager Certificate (For those who are applying for Senior Barista and above positions)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in fast food or other related food operations, at leadership level position or Alternatively either pursuing/obtained a degree in Hotel | Restaurant Management
  • Relentlessly resourceful - Someone that takes ownership and can get things done -- no excuses. They stay connected to the details. The work doesn’t stop at the parts that aren’t in their job description.

Responsibilities

  • Take essential ownership for the business performance of their store location
  • Schedule and supervise team members as well as ensuring all members are properly trained according to Tea Top recipes and responsibilities
  • Participate in management and personnel meetings
  • Check and maintain inventory levels and replenishment
  • Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve challenging situations that may arise.
  • Good attendance and available to work overtime when needed
  • Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating as normal
  • Available to work on weekends and holidays.
  • Maintain maintenance schedule of equipment and ensure all equipment is working properly
  • Run store operations with little to no assistance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $14.00 per hour
