Barista / Barista Maestro

Job Overview:

As a Barista, your responsibilities include taking orders, educating our customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences and upselling special items. You should have customer service skills, knowledge of Brewing equipment operation and enthusiastic about coffee by maintaining a high standard of execution. You will ensure an excellent coffee experience for our guests. Our baristas are also in charge of retail sales of coffee accessories sold in our store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking Orders: Greet customers as they enter. Give customers drinks menu and answer their questions regarding ingredients. Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Brewing and Serving: Prepare beverages following recipes. Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins
• Handling Payments: Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the area clean. Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.
• Safety and Compliance: Comply with health and safety regulations. Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs.

Who we’re looking for:

- 3+ year’s experience as a Barista

- High School / Diploma or Equivalent

- Ability to Upsell

- Customer Centric

- Expert at Latte Art

- Good Communication in English. Arabic is a plus.

- Handson Experience with Brewing equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
