Barista / Bartender

Mudita Cafe is looking for a friendly and passionate barista/ bartender to join our team! You will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a warm and welcoming café atmosphere. If you love coffee and enjoy engaging with people, we’d love to hear from you!

Weekend Availability Required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages following recipes and standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with precision.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Follow and update all relevant checklists.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including restocking supplies.
• Provide accurate information about all menu items to customers, when necessary.
• Assist in food preparation, if applicable.
• Uphold health and safety regulations.
• Understand VA ABC Laws & Regulations.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous barista or bartending experience preferred.
• Exercise an understanding of coffee varieties and alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
