Company Overview

Bold Monk Brewing Co. is more than a brewery. We are a Belgian inspired brewpub, bookstore, coffee house, and gathering place in West Midtown Atlanta. Our mornings and early afternoons should feel just as intentional as our evenings — thoughtful, warm, and craft driven.

We are looking for a Barista & Daytime Bartender to help us launch and elevate our coffee program the right way from day one.

This is not just a barista job. This is an opportunity to build something.

The Role

You will lead the daily execution of our coffee service while also serving as the daytime bartender. You will help shape standards, create systems, and bring hospitality to life during our daytime hours.

You will work closely with leadership to develop a coffee program that matches the quality and intentionality of our beer and food.

What You Will Do

• Prepare high quality espresso drinks, drip coffee, and specialty beverages
• Set up, maintain, and close the coffee bar with precision and cleanliness
• Serve beer, wine, and cocktails during daytime service
• Build relationships with regulars and create a welcoming daytime culture
• Help develop seasonal coffee features and signature drinks
• Assist in selecting beans and managing vendor relationships
• Train future baristas as the program grows
• Uphold Bold Monk standards of hospitality, craft, and execution

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years barista experience preferred
• Bartending experience strongly preferred
• Deep care for product quality and consistency
• Organized and systems minded
• Calm under pressure
• Passion for hospitality and community
• Interest in growing into a leadership role

You do not need to know everything. You do need to care deeply.

Growth Path

This role has a clear path to:

Lead Barista → Coffee Program Lead → Beverage Program Leadership

As our coffee program expands, this position will grow into:

• Menu development ownership
• Cost control and ordering oversight
• Staff training leadership
• Daytime revenue growth strategy
• Potential salary leadership role

Pay: $800.00 - $1,400.00 per week
