Barista / Cafe Position

La Vita Dolce, an independent espresso, gelato, and wine cafe is hiring a part-time barista to work about 14 to 25 hours per week. Experience as a barista or in food service is a plus, but not required.

We are a community-oriented cafe that offers an upbeat work environment with a positive culture. This is a position for those who those who are excited about contributing to our cafe's growth and working as part of a team. We seek employees who want to provide customers with an exceptional experience and who maintain a positive and productive attitude even when multitasking and serving many customers at once.

It is a fast-paced job with a wide variety of duties and staff should not only value quality but also efficiency. Multi-tasking while remaining present for coworkers and customers is key.

You will interface with customers and prepare and serve all menu items (coffee drinks, sandwiches, smoothies, gelato, wine, etc.) while maintaining a welcoming, warm, and clean environment in the cafe. Alignment with our values and purpose of welcoming everyone to treat themselves and feel good is critical.
