Barista/ Cafe Worker

Shores Sisters is seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a love for coffee and customer service and enjoys creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our guests. In this role, you will prepare high-quality beverages and food items, maintain café cleanliness, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items with accuracy and care
• Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering menu questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including prep stations and dining areas
• Follow all food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
• Handle cash transactions accurately and make correct change
• Assist with inventory by monitoring stock levels of coffee, food items, and supplies

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cashiering duties
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience
• Familiarity with food service and safe food handling practices
• Experience with Clover POS
