Duties

• Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast and Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their café experience.
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items, preparing light food offerings, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café environment is inviting and organized.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Experience operating POS systems.
• Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to serve food safely while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a café setting.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
