Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with integrity and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including assembling food items and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or in a similar food service role within a café or retail environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction balancing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling, and food preparation techniques
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
