Barista Cashier

Part-Time or Full-Time | Early Mornings & Weekends | Customer-Focused Role

Kaylena Marie’s Artisan Bakery & Café is opening a new location on Main Street in Buffalo, and we’re hiring a Barista / Cashier to be the face of our bakery during morning and lunch service.

This is a front-of-house role focused on hospitality, efficiency, and creating an exceptional guest experience. You’ll work closely with the baking team, kitchen team, and owner to ensure every customer interaction reflects the warmth and quality of Kaylena Marie’s brand.

What You’ll Do

• Greet every guest warmly with eye contact and a genuine smile
• Take and process orders accurately using the Toast POS system
• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, and specialty beverages
• Keep the pastry case fully stocked and visually appealing throughout your shift
• Prioritize customer service over all other tasks
• Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly
• Maintain front-of-house cleanliness and organization at all times
• Support smooth service during high-volume breakfast and lunch rushes
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen regarding product availability

• Experience in a café, bakery, or customer service environment required
• Weekend and early morning availability
• Strong multitasking and time management skills
• Flexibility and willingness to cross-train
• Friendly, professional, and well-put-together presence
• Ability to stay calm and positive during busy rushes
• Reliable, punctual, and team-focused
