Barista Cashier

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate cash registers efficiently, handle cash handling with precision, and process payments securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while ensuring quality service.
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Support team members in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Skills

• Proven experience as a barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee-making skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
