Barista Cashier

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with strong cash handling and cashiering skills
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering menu recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and café spaces
• Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving food items to guests in accordance with safety guidelines
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and food preparation techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Experience in serving or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory
