Barista Cashier

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to ensure a positive experience
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy using retail math skills
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and food handling areas
• Assist with food service tasks including serving food items and supporting food safety protocols
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations

Experience

• Prior barista experience in a café or coffee shop environment is highly preferred
• Proven experience in cashiering or retail math to handle cash handling confidently
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Familiarity with food safety regulations, food preparation, and food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math applications
