Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items as needed.
• Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cashiering duties like giving change and balancing tills at shift end.
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
• Engage with customers to promote products, upsell items when appropriate, and enhance overall sales performance.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Experience in serving or retail environments demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
