Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Operate Square POS system.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS operations with attention to detail, ensuring proper cash handling and register balancing.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, food safety protocols, and food preparation procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods through strong time management skills to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Experience in food handling, food preparation, or food service environments demonstrating attention to hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry is advantageous. Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
