Barista Cashier

Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently to process orders and payments accurately
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with integrity and precision
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area, including food preparation stations and coffee making areas
• Manage time effectively during peak times to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Follow food and drink safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the store, and lift moderate weights when needed
• Familiarity with serving in a fast food or retail environment is a plus; food or coffee industry experience is advantageous
• Respectful to other staff, management, and customers, willingness to learn and excel, and a positive attitude

If you are the more quiet type, that's okay, we can train you and provide you with the necessary skills to become proficient talking to our customers. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone that takes pride in respect, hard work, and people skills.
