Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Engage in serving customers promptly while managing multiple tasks effectively through strong time management skills

Experience

• Prior barista experience or background working in a café or food service environment is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
• Experience in serving or retail environments that require multitasking under pressure is beneficial
