Barista Cashier

Barista / Cashier Position

We’re seeking an energetic and customer-focused Barista Cashier to become part of our café team. This role blends customer service with beverage and food preparation in a busy café environment.

Key duties:

• Process customer orders accurately using a POS system (Aloha or Micros experience preferred)
• Prepare coffee beverages and food items while following recipes and food safety standards
• Manage cash and electronic payments and ensure register accuracy
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner to create a welcoming experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all café and food prep areas
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods without sacrificing quality
• Replenish supplies and assist with food prep as needed
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines

Ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience as a barista or in a café setting
• Comfort using POS systems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities
• Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

This position provides hands-on experience in coffee service, customer relations, and retail operations within a supportive café environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.90 - $18.50 per hour
