Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and preparation tasks.
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cash register operations, change giving, and balancing cash drawers at shift end.
• Assist with food service tasks such as food prep, serving baked goods or snacks, and ensuring the café remains inviting and organized.
• Use excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining high-quality customer interactions.

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred.
• Proven cashiering skills with familiarity in POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and food preparation techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.04 - $18.50 per hour
