Barista Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café. This role requires a blend of customer service skills and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques to deliver high-quality drinks and maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the POS systems for order taking and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas, equipment, and seating spaces.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
