Barista Cashier

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee beverages, pastries, frozen custard, Italian ice, and other treats to customers
• Handle financial transactions and using Square point-of-sale system
• Help to provide friendly, courteous and welcoming customer service to customers and address all inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
• Comply with health and food safety standards
• Assist with social media management, creation, and posting
• Train new employees as needed

Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of barista experience
• Must have availability for early mornings (ex: 6:00am-11:00 am)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is a plus
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for calculating totals and making change
• Flexibility to work in shifts including daytime and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
