Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and handling standards
• Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs promptly
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations and basic math calculations for transactions
• Assist in food preparation, including serving food items and ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and basic math for cashiering tasks
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in retail or food industry settings is advantageous
