Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling responsibilities with precision and integrity
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling procedures
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
• Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling and sanitation practices

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast POS, etc. is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
