Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items with precision and care.
• Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties, and give correct change using retail math skills.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with food handling regulations; assist with food preparation when needed.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and order accuracy.
• Support the café’s daily operations by restocking supplies, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols.

Experience

• Prior barista experience in a fast-paced café or food industry environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
• Experience in serving beverages and light food items within a retail or café setting is advantageous.
