Barista/ Coffee Shop Assistant

Barista – Specialty Coffee Shop & Roastery (Opening Soon)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Barista to join our team at a soon-to-open specialty coffee shop and roastery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, and other café offerings.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of coffee preparation, extraction techniques, milk texturing, and latte art.
• Assist customers with coffee bean selections, brewing methods, and coffee-making accessories.
• Promote and sell roasted coffee beans, brewing equipment, and related products.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards throughout the café.
• Support daily operations and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience in a specialty coffee environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of coffee beans, roasting profiles, brewing methods, and coffee equipment.
• Passion for coffee and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Advantage:

• Experience in preparing crepes, waffles, and pancakes will be an added advantage.
