Barista / Customer Service

Job Summary
The Barista / Customer Service Representative is responsible for preparing beverages and desserts, providing excellent customer service, handling orders and payments, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with menu selections.
  • Take customer orders accurately and process payments.
  • Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, milkshakes, and desserts according to Sugarmoo standards.
  • Ensure product quality and presentation meet company standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation, equipment, and customer areas.
  • Restock ingredients, packaging, and supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock management.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a café, restaurant, dessert shop, or customer service role is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and food handling practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
