Barista (Experienced)

We're hiring!

Looking for upbeat and experienced full-time and part-time baristas:
* who can work minimally three days a week.

Interested?
+ Ideally you will have an interest in coffee;
+ relevant cafe experience involving the service of food and espresso beverages;
+ availability for at least three shifts per week.

*Applicants MUST have previous barista experience.

- Ability to operate an espresso machine and dialing in espresso (La Marzocco)
- Properly steam milk
- Strong work ethic and friendly attitude
- The ability to multi-task
- Team player mentality
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about our products
- Flexible schedule and weekend availability
- A great sense of humor

Responsibilities Include:
- Opening and/or closing the coffee counter.
- Customer engagement.
- Taking multiple orders in a busy environment and ringing up sales.
- Preparing and serving coffee, cold drinks, tea, and pastries.
- Developing barista skills.
- Maintaining overall store appearance + cleanliness and equipment.
- Re-stocking inventory and communicating any shop/supply needs.
- Providing high quality customer service.
- ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain one if hired.

• Starting rate (2+ years experience, w/ ServSafe certification) is $13-15+ DOE.
