Looking to fill closing shifts during weekdays AND weekends--must have flexibility. Closing shifts are typically 2:30-10pm.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling pastries or light snacks as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café transactions
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• Experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
