Barista - Full Time and Part Time Positions

Pour Boy Coffee is looking to hire experienced baristas immediately.

We are looking for people who are fast, kind, dependable, and genuinely good with customers. Prior barista experience is strongly preferred, and pay will be based on experience. More experienced baristas may qualify for a higher starting rate.

This is a real café job first. We need people who can make great drinks, follow recipes, take direction, keep a clean workspace, move with urgency, and treat customers well. Pour Boy has a creative, story-driven world behind it, but we are not looking for people to “perform” a character or act out the universe. We are looking for great café employees who understand hospitality, consistency, and teamwork.

That said, Pour Boy is also a highly creative brand. Applicants with an artistic background, illustration skills, design experience, writing ability, animation interest, or other creative talents are especially encouraged to apply. For the right employees, additional freelance artwork opportunities may be available outside of regular café work.

Ideal applicants have:

• Prior barista or café experience
• Strong customer service skills
• A positive, coachable attitude
• The ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
• Good speed under pressure
• Reliability and availability
• An interest in art, storytelling, design, comics, animation, music, or creative culture
