From our full, in-house kitchen, we share laminated dough pastries all the way through rich cookies, cupcakes, brownies and doughnuts. Our coffee program was designed by is sourced through a Dallas-based National-award winning micro-roaster. Barista Responsibilities

· Greet and engage with customers about our coffee, beverages, and pastry offerings.

· Serve and package all drink and pastry offerings as well as receive and process payments.

· Operate a full espresso bar set-up (including maintaining general cleanliness of equipment).

· Take orders while paying attention to customer requests (ratios, unique add-ons, etc.).

· Prep and serve all made-to-order tea, espresso, coffee and blended drinks while following a recipe.

· Prep syrups and ingredients for specialty drinks.

· Be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Answer questions and inform customers of special ingredients.

· Learn about brewing methods, blends and presentation techniques (including latte art).

· Maintain cleanliness of bar area and all Front of House areas including trash removal, sanitizing equipment/utensils, and restrooms.

· Update signage/menu boards as needed.

· Report inventory and maintenance needs to management and replenish ingredients and items at coffee and pastry bars.

· Adhere to all safety and food quality controls (Will require a Food Handlers Certificate).

Experience

1-3 years barista experience and latte art preferred.

Shifts

Part time that could matriculate to full time. Shifts are typically 6am-11pm, 7am-12pm, 12pm-5pm, 9am-5pm.

Pay: $14.00 - $22.00 per hour
