Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using POS system
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety at all times
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as needed
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring satisfaction

Skills

• Proven barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
• Familiarity with POS system
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling practices in a café or food industry setting
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
