Job Overview

Pompadour Café is a modern French-inspired café located in Topanga Social, seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about coffee, customer service, and delivering a high-quality café experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.) with consistency and quality
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and café equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station
• Assist with light food prep (crepes, pastries) as needed
• Handle POS transactions accurately

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee shop experience required
• Knowledge of espresso extraction and milk steaming
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Flexible schedule (weekends and evenings preferred)
• Food Handler Certificate required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
