San Fernando Coffee Company is a community-rooted café focused on great coffee, warm service, and celebrating culture through every cup and bite. We're opening a brand-new location and looking for energetic, customer-focused Baristas to help us build something special.

Job Summary

As a Barista at SFCC, you’ll craft delicious beverages, connect with guests, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space. Whether you're a seasoned pro or just getting started, we provide the training and support to grow your skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and cold beverages according to company standards
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with attention to consistency and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across all café areas, including bar, floor, register, and restrooms
• Stock and prep ingredients and supplies during and between shifts
• Accurately take orders and operate the POS system
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment
• Ensure consistency, quality, and timing on all orders
• Accurately label, date, and rotate ingredients using FIFO (first in, first out) methods
• Assist with inventory organization and ingredient management
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with team members and managers
• Be cross-trained in line cook station to support the team when needed

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and grow with the team
• Barista or café experience is a plus, but not required
• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay

• $17.87 an hour + tips
