Duties

• Lead daily café operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service and high-quality product delivery
• Supervise and support baristas in preparing coffee, beverages, and food items with precision and care
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, and cashiering duties accurately
• Uphold food safety standards by monitoring food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
• Assist customers with orders, resolve issues promptly, and provide outstanding customer service to foster loyalty
• Train new team members on serving techniques, POS systems, and food safety protocols
• Oversee inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and ensure cleanliness of the café environment

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or retail setting is highly preferred
• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising or leading a team during shifts
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
• Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety, handling, and basic math for cash transactions
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse customer needs professionally
• Experience with food preparation and serving in a café or retail environment is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $1,037.19 per week

Work Location: In person
