Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks with precision and care, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and transactions.
• Manage food safety standards by following proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas, adhering to health regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.
• Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including basic math calculations for sales totals and change.

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving protocols within a café or retail environment.
• Basic math skills for cashiering, sales transactions, and inventory counts are essential.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
